Jordan is a Junior Specialist, Workforce Coordinator. She currently works on projects to build and sustain the public health workforce in Hawaiʻi. She is an avid writer and is an Assistant Editor for the Hawaiʻi Journal of Health & Social Welfare (HJH&SW), where she previously completed her Graduate Research Assistantship upon graduating from her MPH.
Research Interests
Having a background in both environmental health and public health, much of my research has focused on how the environment can influence oneʻs health. Previous research includes the surveillance of ticks through active collection in Western North Carolina and a study on the relationship between heavy drinking and hypertension.
