Student Spotlight – Jake Atienza

UH Mānoa student Jake Atienza submits a field report on mining in Cebu.

Jake, MA Sociology 2023 at UH Mānoa, submitted his fieldwork report in Cebu, where he researched the consequences of mining. The Corky Trinidad Endowment Scholarship made his project possible. The report is now available in Summary. Jake is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the University of California-Irving.
