Report on Philippine Human Rights in the Philippines
The public is invited to a rare lecture entitled “A Report on the Human Rights Situation in the Duterte Government” by Ka Ed Cubelo.
During the past two years of President Rodrigo Duterte, there have been allegations of human rights abuses especially in connection with his war on drugs. In this lecture, Mr. Cubelo will present data and his analysis of what has happened since 2016.
Mr. Cubelo is a human rights activist and labor leader of Kilusang Mayo Uno. He works at Toyota Motor Philippines and is president of the Workers Association in that company.
