WHAT:    The University of Hawai’i at Mānoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources' Fashion Design and Merchandising Program (FDM) will host their 53rd annual spring fashion show, Sweet Escape, showcasing the creations, design processes and views on fashion of 3 junior designers.

WHO:      Junior designers Jessica Arista, April Decastro and Kimmy Diaz

WHEN:     April 28, 6 p.m.

WHERE:  Hawai‘i State Art Museum, 250 South Hotel Street

DETAILS:

Each of the junior designers will showcase an individual collection that showcases their unique designs, creative talent, and design aesthetics. This year’s Sweet Escape theme plays a huge role in their designs as well as their individual inspirations and themes.

FDM is a comprehensive undergraduate program that prepares students for fashion careers all around the globe. FDM has contributed a hundred years of fashion from UH Mānoa. Each year design and fashion show production students come together to create an annual, student-organized fashion show that people from all islands come to see.
