The University of Hawai‘i Bookstore System presents the semi-finalists for the fourth-annual HI Pride T-Shirt Design Contest. The contest asks students enrolled at all UH System campuses to create a T-shirt design that shows what “HI Pride” or “Hawai‘i Pride” means to them.

Each semi-finalist’s design will go online for a public vote May 6-11, 2015 to determine the winner of the 2015 HI Pride T-Shirt Contest.

Selected by a panel of UH Bookstore managers and student employees, the 2015 semi-finalist designs are by: Renee Yonamine of University of Hawai‘i at Manoa; Niki Thomas of University of Hawai‘i at Hilo; Amber K. Ramos of Leeward Community College; and Brandy Kahawai of Windward Community College.

Online public voting begins 5 pm May 6 and closes at 12:00 pm (noon HST) Monday, May 11, 2015. Vote online at http://uhbookstores.polldaddy.com/s/hipride2015 or by visiting www.bookstore.hawaii.edu.

The design with the most online public votes will be the winner. In case of a tie, another poll on the UH Bookstores’ Facebook pages will be conducted to determine a single winner.

The winning 2015 HI Pride T-Shirt design will be printed and available at all UH Bookstores in Fall 2015. UH students receive a special discount on HI Pride T-shirts with valid ID.

All UH Bookstores purchases support the University of Hawai‘i’s educational mission.
