Searching for a job? Need education or training? Windward Community College’s "College & Career Fair" offers opportunities to explore professional development and new job prospects all in one place. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Hale ‘Ākoakoa. Over 50 employers and college representatives will be available. This event is FREE and open to the community.

 

“It’s a great place to network with employers and schools. Even if you’re currently working, you might find a job that is more exciting to you,” said Windward CC Career Counselor Sarah Hodell. “We’d also like to introduce the community and employers to our Career Center, where our counselors will have the latest job postings.”

 

Participating colleges and universities include: Argosy University, Chaminade University, Hawai‘i Pacific University, Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Honolulu Community College, Kapi‘olani Community College, Leeward Community College, Windward Community College, UH Hilo, UH Mānoa, UH West O‘ahu, University of Phoenix, Universal Technical Institute, iCAN/Windward CC.              

 

Participating employers include: City & County of Honolulu Parks and Recreation, Easter Seals Hawai‘i, Hawai‘i Air Guard, Hawai‘i Army National Guard, Honolulu Police Department, Jack in the Box, Jamba Juice, Kama‘aina Kids, Kualoa Ranch, Marine Corps Community Service, Masa & Joyce Okazuya, McDonald’s, Michael Kors, Northwestern Mutual Financial, PETCO, Primerica, Rotary Club, Securitas Security Services, The Carpet Shoppe, U.S. Army Reserves, U.S. Coast Guard, Vector Marketing, YMCA and more!
