UH Saves Day will share financial education

UH Mānoa will host its second annual UH Saves Day on Wednesday, February 23, to impart financial literacy to students, faculty and staff. There will be educational workshops, exhibits, and a game show competition testing four student teams on financial concepts.
 
Exhibits and the LifeSmarts Challenge will be held in the Campus Center Ballroom. Educational workshops will take place in Campus Center rooms 307 and 308 on topics such as Graduating Debt Free, Repaying Your Student Loans, Financing Graduate Education and Beginning Investment Strategies.

WHO:             Exhibitors will include Bank of Hawai‘i, UH Federal Credit Union, various State of Hawai‘i departments, UH Mānoa Career Services, Better Business Bureau Hawai‘i, Internal Revenue Service, Financial Aid Office and America Saves.
 
Event sponsors are the UH Mānoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, Cooperative Extension Service and Student Activities Council, Campus Center, Office of Undergraduate Education, Office of Financial Aid, and Shidler College of Business.
