The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is offering a four-week bridge course for high school juniors and seniors and college students pursuing STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) degrees.

The course will be conducted June 16 – July 14 and will provide students an opportunity to strengthen their math and chemistry skills for college-level science classes. Daily classes include personal interaction with UH Hilo professors, hands-on activities and experiments, islandwide excursions to apply skills learned in class, and the opportunity to develop a connection between culture and science. A $250 stipend and tuition waivers will be available for qualifying students.
