Traffic alert issued for roads leading to campus tomorrow afternoon

Three major Athletics events on Friday, April 30, at UH Mānoa makai/lower campus may impact afternoon and evening rush-hour traffic, especially at entrances leading to and from the Parking Structure off Dole Street and near University Avenue.

 

Large crowds are expected at Friday’s Wahine softball game at 6:00 p.m., the Rainbow baseball game at Les Murakami Stadium at 6:30 p.m., and the Warrior football scrimmage on T.C. Ching Field at 7:00 p.m.

 

Because tailgating at and watching any of the events from the Parking Structure are prohibited due to safety concerns, HPD officers will be patrolling and enforcing the rules.

 

On-campus parking is $5.00, available either in the Parking Structure or in lots on the main campus beginning at 4:00 p.m.
