University Health Services Manoa (UHSM) will be holding an H1N1 influenza vaccine immunization clinic for all UH Mānoa students on Thursday, January 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The H1N1 influenza vaccine is offered free of direct charge to all current UH Mānoa students. Students with insurance are asked to bring their current health insurance cards.

UH Manoa students who meet any one of the following criteria are especially encouraged to receive the vaccination:

·        Younger than 25.
·        Pregnant.
·        Health-care workers.
·        Caretakers or family members of infants younger than 6 months.
·        Students with chronic medical conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, heart disease).

The vaccine will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. Any UH Mānoa student younger than 18 is required to provide a parent/guardian signature of consent form, which may be picked up from UHSM in advance.

Medical visits at UHSM will be limited to urgent needs only during this immunization clinic.
