You are invited to come support our UH Mānoa employees at the 2009 University of Hawaiʻi - Aloha United Way (AUW) Softball Tournament.

In support of the 2009 AUW O‘ahu Campaign, the UH has organized the fourth annual softball tournament scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2009, at the Les Murakami Stadium. Please join us as we cheer on our UH Mānoa team as they play against other teams from the UH System, Honolulu Community College, Kapi‘olani Community College, Leeward Community College, Windward Community College, UH West O‘ahu, and AUW team.

Stadium doors will open at 4:30 p.m., and President M.R.C. Greenwood will throw the first pitch at 5:00 p.m.

This year’s Manoa team will be under the leadership of our Team Co-Captains, Vice Chancellors Gary Ostrander and Francisco Hernandez. Mānoa team members include:

- Reid Igawa, Building Manager, Auxiliary Enterprises

- Michelle Isa, Administrative Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education

- Tim Merrill, Program Officer, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
