A celebration of life for the late G. Raymond Nunn, a University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa professor emeritus of history and Asian studies, will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the Parish of St. Clement at 1515 Wilder Avenue in Makiki.

Nunn, 90, died on April 8, 2009.


He was the first library director at the East-West Center, later becoming the director of East-West Center research collections.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be earmarked for the G. Raymond Nunn Memorial Fund, which will be administered by the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation.

Donations may be made out to UH Foundation, with "Nunn Memorial" in the memo section, and mailed to UH Foundation, P.O. Box 11270, Honolulu, HI 96828-0270.
