Protecting the Sheep: U.S.-Japan trade expert explains protectionism
University of HawaiʻiOn Wednesday, April 3, Assistant Professor Yoichiro Sato of theAsia Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) will speak tostudents in Dr. Vincent K. Pollard's "Introduction to American Politics" course at Kapi'olani Community College, 4303 Diamond Head, Honolulu.
"Making of American Trade Protectionism: Politics of Lamb Trade" is the topic of Dr. Sato's presentation. The speaker is an expert in comparative political economy. Sato's lecture is scheduled for1:45 p.m. in Olona 201 on the KCC campus.
Yoichiro Sato studied at Keio University (Tokyo), University of South Carolina and the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. In additionto APCSS, Dr. Sato has taught political science at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, Kansai Gaidai Hawaii College and Auckland University (New Zealand).
