MEDIA ADVISORY: UH to announce major research milestone, August 6

WHAT:
The University of Hawaiʻi will host a news conference to announce a milestone in research. The event will showcase how UH research is addressing critical health challenges across the islands, from cancer disparities to mental health recovery after the Maui wildfires through community-rooted, hyperlocal research efforts.

Note: The Ho‘ōla Early Phase Clinical Research Center is still an active construction zone. All participants entering this area must wear long pants and covered shoes. No sandals or slippers allowed.
