  • Leeward Community College Wai‘anae Moku is a full-service University of Hawaiʻi education center, where students can earn degrees or certificates.
  • The Waiʻanae Moku Education Center has been serving the community since 1970.
  • A dedication ceremony for its first permanent home at its current location on Kulauapuni St. was held on October 10, 2017.
  • Hensel visited the Leeward CC Waiʻanae Moku Education Center Wednesday, February 5, as part of her 10 campus, six education center tour in her first 90 days
  • Hensel started as president of the campus system on January 1, 2025
