WHAT: Dozens of families, kūpuna, community members and University of Hawaiʻi students learn the lovely art of flower arranging for Valentine’s Day. Attendees will use fresh flowers to make two arrangements: one to keep and another to donate to the clients of Mental Health Kokua, a nonprofit supporting our neighbors’ mental and emotional health.

WHEN: Saturday, February 8, 10–11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Campus Center, UH Mānoa. Free parking on weekends.

WHY: Our community spreads joy through small acts of kindness, such as sharing flowers with those who may not have the means to do so themselves or with cherished family members.

WHO: This free event is sponsored by the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience the College's Home Garden Network.
