Stephen Schatz, Hawaiʻi P–20 Executive Director (21 seconds)

“We’re certainly concerned that the lack of face-to-face interaction with the school counselor, or teachers and principals is a challenge, and so we want to be there to help. We want to provide that kind of virtual support for the entire state, for all of our students so that they can figure out what’s the next step, how do they afford college, what’s the process of applying, all of that.”

David Lassner, University of Hawai‘i President (27 seconds)

“We want Hawaiʻi students who are academically prepared to know how absolutely welcome they are at our UH four-year universities. Higher education is even more crucial to a thriving citizenry during times of recessions, and you just can’t beat the opportunities across the University of Hawaiʻi System and the extraordinary range of affordable higher education programs we offer right here at home.”
