Guest Frequently Asked Questions

No. Smoking is not permitted in rooms or any other area of the building. The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is a smoke free campus.
Check-in is after 2:00pm and check-out is before 12 noon. If you or your group would like to check in or check out at a different time, please contact the Conference Housing Office to arrange an early check-in or late check-out. Early arrivals and late departures will result in a fee of $25.00 per group.

Yes, every room is internet ready. Wireless access is available. Each wireless account is arranged through the group coordinator only. You can also connect to the internet with an Ethernet cord. 

A full kitchen is located on the roof top of Hale Aloha and on the 12th floor of Frear Hall. However, no pots, pans, or utensils are provided.

No, bed linen and towels are provided in every room. Please leave items folded on the bed upon check-out to avoid fees.

We provide a pillow with a pillowcase, two flat sheets, one towel and a washcloth. Blankets are provided in Frear Hall and by request for Hale Aloha stays. Requests for blankets must be received by our office no later than five business days prior to arrival.

Parking is available upon request for an additional charge of $5.00 per day per vehicle (Zone 20) or an additional charge of $25.00 per day per vehicle (Zone 8). Arrangements for parking must be made in writing through the conference office at least 18 business days prior to requested date(s).

Please contact the Conference Housing office as soon as possible so we can check the room or see if anything was found.

There are no gyms located in Conference Housing facilities, however there is one on campus. If you are interested in using the gym, please contact Student Recreation Services about membership options.

During desk hours, you can go to the front desk of your hall to get a replacement key. If you locked your key in your room, a spare key can be given only to the registered guest of the room and for only 15 minutes. If it is outside of front desk hours, please call the on-call number, (808) 620-1014, for assistance to help you get into your room. Let them know what building and room number you are in when calling for locked out assistance.

Please go to the Hale Aloha Cafeteria desk at the front door and ask for a replacement meal card. Let them know that you are a Conference Housing guest. Your group coordinator will need to go with you.

Please contact your group coordinator to check your meal schedule. If there are any discrepancies please go to the front desk of your hall and notify them of this problem.

Notify the front desk of your hall for any maintenance issues concerning your room or unit. Please be aware that maintenance staff will be entering the unit to review and correct the issues that were reported.

Yes. A few locations on the UH Mānoa campus include Paradise Palms, Hemenway Hall, and Campus Center.

At this time, housekeeping services are not available.

Hale Aloha bathrooms are cleaned daily. For trash removal, please remove your trash and place them in the trash chutes (Frear Hall: trash chute on each floor near the elevators, Hale Aloha: trash chute near fire exit stairs). Trash liners are available at the front desk of your building.

Yes. In Frear Hall, laundry rooms are located on the 2nd, 6th, and 10th floors. In Hale Aloha, the laundry room is located on the roof top level. The washers and dryers are card operated. Laundry cards can be purchased for $2 at the machine next to the front desk of your hall.

Mail can be picked up at the front desk of your hall during desk hours (9am – 9pm). You will be notified via email (academic year) or mail slip (summer) when we receive your mail.
