Eligibility
Conference housing is available to programs affiliated with any of the 10 University of Hawaii campuses. Applications for conference housing may only be submitted directly by the University sponsoring department. Please click below to apply for conference housing (UH login required).
Rooms & Rates
The following room rates are in effect for Summer 2025 only and are subject to availability. Once a request is initiated, Conference Housing staff will communicate which specific units may be available on the dates requested once all eligibility requirements have been confirmed.

Amenities & Services
Wireless Internet
Wireless internet access is available to all Conference Housing guests.
Laundry
Guests have access to on-site laundry facilities for a nominal fee during their stay. Please note that laundry detergent is not provided on-site.
Linen Exchange
Guests staying in Conference Housing for seven or more consecutive days can exchange their linen at their front desk.
Community Kitchen
Each Conference Housing facility is equipped with a community kitchen which is available to all conference guests staying in the facility.
Lounge Access
Conference Facilities include several small lounges that guests may use during their stay.
Mail
We offer convenient mail services for all guests staying with us at University Conference Housing.
Parking
Parking is available upon request for an additional fee. Arrangements must be made in writing at least 18 business days in advance through the conference office. Rates are $5.00 per day in Zone 20, or $25.00 per day in Zone 8. Passes are valid in approved zones only and must be displayed at all times. Passes requested in advance will be available for pickup at guest check-in.
Meal Plans
All Conference Housing guests are required to participate in the meal plan program when the Hale Aloha Café or Gateway Dining Hall are open for service. Meals can be enjoyed at any time during your stay, with convenient take-out options available. The associated cost, if applicable, is noted below on a per person, per day basis:
- Three Meals – $31.67 *not available on weekends or Holidays
- Two Meals – $25.22

Check-in Time
Check-in at Frear Hall: 2-9 p.m., early fees apply.
Check-out Time
Check-out by 12 p.m., late fees apply; early checkout allowed.
