Hawai’i Accounting Research Conference (HARC) is an annual global accounting conference held at the University of Hawai’i (UH) in early January. The purpose of the conference is to provide a venue that is delightful for attendees to engage in lively discussions about intellectually stimulating accounting research.

HARC 2026 Important Dates

  • March 2025: First conference call.
  • May 2025: Second conference call.
  • June 2025: Last conference call.
  • August 15, 2025: Research paper submission deadline. Please see Paper Submissions page for details.
  • September 2025: Author notification (acceptance or rejection).
  • October 12, 2025: Registration deadline for presenters. The registration form can be found here.
  • October 30, 2025: General registration deadline. After this deadline, registration is considered late, and payment of a late registration fee will be required.
  • January 2–5, 2026: Conference, research collaboration, and networking. The conference program can be found here.
