Connecting Education to Industry
The College of Engineering values its strong partnerships with members of industry and strives to facilitate industry-student connections in a variety of ways. As our industry partner, you have the opportunity to engage with our student body throughout the year and in a variety of settings.
Career Expo Recruitment
Our Fall and Spring Career Expos often sell out quickly and attract 100+ employers from Hawaiʻi and the U.S. Continent. Hundreds of students attend each semester to connect with our industry partners for job and internship opportunities. Please visit our Events page for information on the next upcoming event, including details on how to register as an employer.

Additional Engagement Opportunities
Throughout the year, students and employers can continue to engage via workshops, lunch-and-learn events, and other face-to-face and virtual opportunities. Many companies seek the chance to engage with our students beyond Career Expo, whether it be by holding an information session, offering a resume workshop, or mingling with candidates at an invitation-only mixer. If you would like assistance with securing classroom space and/or promoting a potential event specifically for our students, please contact Kim Perez Hults, Director of Marketing & Outreach Relations, at hults@hawaii.edu.

Industry-Infused Education
From our Pearl Harbor Co-op program and Senior Design courses to the Community Innovation Mentorship Program, we offer our students numerous opportunities to build relationships with employers and gain real-world experience while providing solutions to challenges facing the community and nation, all while earning college credit. To learn more about how your company may become involved, contact Assistant Dean Song Choi at schoi@hawaii.edu.
