The University of Hawai’i at Mānoa closed its Confucius Institute effective May 31, 2019, in order to maintain federally funded research and educational opportunities for its faculty and students. We thank the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China for thirteen years of support of our K-16 and community outreach efforts.
