The work of my office is to create and support initiatives to foster a more inclusive and engaged campus community at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.
In order to foster a stronger campus climate and culture of belonging, I designed my position to focus on supporting strong relationships at three levels:
- By utilizing my skills as a mediator and facilitator to help resolve conflicts between individuals and groups;
- By providing outreach and training to help our campus community members develop the tools they need to engage in respectful and productive ways; and
- By advising leadership on how to respond to the larger needs of the UH community at the campus and system levels.
