8) Briefly explain the assessment activities that took place since November 2018.
At the end of each semester, all graduate faculty meet. The progress of each student in the program is reviewed and discussed, and students are evaluated on the extent to which they are meeting each SLO. These evaluations are recorded and tracked for each student across their time in the program, concluding in the semester a student graduates. (Students are also sent a letter each semester informing them of their progress toward each SLO, as well as other feedback).

N = 17. This is the population of all students actively taking classes in the program during the assessment period.

We have identified areas where students appear to need additional support (e.g., writing) and are discussing ways to implement that support. (We had originally discussed having a series of brown bag meetings, but plans were delayed/put on hold due to COVID).
16) Beyond the results, were there additional conclusions or discoveries? This can include insights about assessment procedures, teaching and learning, and great achievements regarding program assessment in this reporting period.
Based on discussions of student's goals and interests, we have been discussing ways to modify courses and advising activities to better support students' professional trajectories and goals (particularly, non-academic careers).
