What does the Student Success Center have for students?

We provide a study space to quietly study in between classes. The space is filled with office supplies for your convenience! Paper, pens & a white board space for times you need more than just your notebook. 

As for Summer 2025, the Student Success Center has incorporated a Sensory Space! Center on Disability Studies & the OFDAS Center for Teaching Excellence, in partnership with the SSC, provides you this space for self-regulation & stress management. Associated in researching the effectiveness of the sensory space in promoting better stress regulation! Come & check it out!

Can we do group study?

Yes! You can use our space for any group study. We have white boards you can use.

Can students take Zoom classes?

Students are welcome to use the webcams & headsets, alongside the desktops we provide to take synchronous/asynchronous classes.

Can students charge their devices while studying?

Yes! We have charging stations where students can charge devices while studying

Do you offer exam proctoring services?

No. We discontinued this service as of Dec, 2024. Please check this link for other UH testing centers.

Does UH Manoa have any testing centers?

Yes. We have one testing center on campus. The Testing Office provides individual proctoring services for students enrolled in distance learning courses outside the University of Hawaiʻi system (i.e., at another school/institution). 

The fee is $25 per hour. Exam proctoring is by appointment only. For additional information please visit the Test Center webpage.
