Master of Public Health – Distance Education

Courses of study leading to the master of public health (MPH) – distance education option are designed to provide individuals from the U.S. and the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific islands with a broad background for professional practice in the field of public health at state, national and international levels. Individuals from diverse professions and backgrounds will benefit from an MPH degree from UH Mānoa to take their careers to the next level. The MPH-DE can be completed in 21 months and classes are offered asynchronously. MPH-DE students must meet the same MPH degree requirements as students enrolled in the campus-based degree pathway.

The Office of Public Health Studies (OPHS) currently offers the MPH degree (Distance Education option) specializing in health policy and management.
