The Department of Psychiatry Welcomes Zheya “Jenny” Yu, MD to the ‘ohana!

Dr. Yu received her medical degree from Tongi Medical University, Wuhan, P.R., China.  She completed her General Psychiatry Residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, Drexel School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA and her Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Philadelphia.  She was also clinical faculty and an attending Psychiatrist with University of Pennsylvania Health system for the past 16 years.  Her clinical and research interests include how different symptoms are expressed across different cultures and help to seeking behaviors in East Asian populations, across their life span.
