Jacob Hakim, Blaine Billings awarded AIFIS-CAORC Research Fellowships

In 2023, PhD students Blaine Billings and Jacob Hakim were each awarded the American Institute for Indonesian Studies – Council of American Overseas Research Centers (AIFIS-CAORC) Research Fellowship for fieldwork in Bengkulu Province, Sumatra, Indonesia working with Nasal speakers to document their language. They conducted field research together September – November.
