
Alumni Successes in recent months
We are delighted to share that four UHM Linguistics Alumni have recently accepted positions as faculty at various institutions!
Nozomi Tanaka (PhD 2016) has joined the Department of Linguistics at the University of Iowa as a tenured Associate Professor.
Kaiying Lin (PhD 2024) has joined the Institute of Linguistics at Academia Sinica in Taiwan as a tenure-track Assistant Research Fellow. He would like to foster collaboration in the areas of Computational Linguistics and Language Acquisition and would love to connect with others who share similar research interests, so send him an email if this aligns with your goals.
Amber Camp (PhD 2024) accepted a position as assistant professor in Data Science, Analytics, and Visualization at Chaminade University of Honolulu. She looks forward to collaborating on projects!
Jinsun Choe (PhD 2012) has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in the School of Liberal Arts at the Korea University of Technology and Education (KoreaTech).
