Carolyn Siegman and Shelece Easterday both presented research at the 15th International Conference of the Association for Linguistic Typology (ALTXV) in Singapore from December 4-6, 2024. Siegman gave a paper presentation titled “Fricatives or approximants: A typology of stop-to-continuant processes” while Easterday gave a poster presentation titled “Are primal consonant inventory gaps diachronically stable?” at this conference.
