Are you interested in a hall or room transfer?
The Spring 2022 open transfer period begins on Wednesday, January 26th and will continue through Friday, February 18, 2022.
Simply download the form, fill out completely, then submit the form to Student Housing beginning January 26th. All Open Transfer Request Forms must be sent to our UH email account at uhmsh@hawaii.edu. All transfer requests will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis and are based on space availability.
All residents must fill out their own individual transfer request form. For residents wanting to transfer with another person or in a group, all completed forms must have identical requests and be submitted together.
Please continue to check your UH email account for transfer updates. Prior to your transfer being approved, you will receive a Transfer Request Acknowledgment Form. This form must be signed and returned to Student Housing. If your transfer request is approved, then you will receive a transfer confirmation email. A move date and time will be scheduled for you and your account will be adjusted accordingly. You must completely vacate your room and follow all check-out and check-in procedures established by your hall staff. You will be responsible for paying any rent increases and meal plan changes, resulting from your transfer request.
Additionally, if there are any vacancies within your current unit, please make sure the extra bed space is cleared and cleaned in anticipation of a new resident.
