Horizons is an annual journal of undergraduate research, creative work and innovation at the University of Hawaiʻi.

The undergraduate work published in print and online versions represent the rich depth and complexity of Undergraduate scholarly and creative work here at the University. This may be in form of a research paper or capstone thesis, an innovative approach to a problem, or a thought-provoking example of artistic expression which pushes the horizons of academic scholarship in novel ways.

The selections published in Horizons each year may question assumptions, open a new door, or spark interest in a new area. In all of these cases, these student works expand readers’ horizons, wherever you happen to be in the world.
