North Shore

Haleiwa

Haleiwa is a historic surf town where you can wander across the many local surf shops and boutiques. There, you can also indulge in shaved ice — Hawaii’s version of a snow cone that is finely carved with a variety of colors to choose from.

La’ie

In La’ie, you can go swimming, snorkeling, or surfing in several beautiful beaches. You can also go hiking on the La’ie Falls Trail, horseback riding at the Gunstock Ranch, or experience a thrilling ride at the Climb Works Zipline. Hawaii’s most famous attraction, the Polynesian Cultural Center is also located here.

Honolulu/Waikiki

Ala Moana Shopping Center

The Ala Moana Shopping Center is Hawaii’s largest outdoor shopping mall with more than 290 stores, 80 dining options, and over 40 luxury brands.

Waikiki Beach

Waikiki is home to many of the resorts in Oahu. You can visit high-end boutiques at the International Market Place, or walk alongside the shore of Waikiki Beach and enjoy the sunset and lively nightlife.

Windward

Nuuanu Pali Lookout

The Nuuanu Pali is a historic landmark with panoramic view. You can experience the site where King Kamehameha won the battle of Nuuanu that had united Oahu under his rule.

Byodo-In Temple

The Byodo-In Temple is a scale replica of a temple in Uji Japan to commemorate the first Japanese Immigrants in Hawaii. Its beautiful landscape and scenery makes it a sacred and tranquil place. It is customary to ring the bell before entering the temple for happiness and longevity. Visitors are also welcomed to light incense and offer a prayer.
