Proposal to revamp curriculum for 2019. Postponed.
Currently working to save JOUR B.A. program from being eliminaged. Proposed a new B.A. degree and we are part of provost's reorg.

Two professors worked on revisions to curriculum.

We determined that we needed to make the program more flexible. Gathered feedback from senior students via questionnaire. One professor offered a new curriculum map, but we couldn't agree on it. Then COVID hit and now we are working on revisions to fit into the reorganization plan.

We changed admission requirements. Enrollment has increase as a result. Number of majors has increased over 50 percent since Fall 2019.
Students are allowed course substitutions and given more flexibility.

We have a lot of work to do because of the reoganization. That's our focus right now; survival.
