Recent assessment efforts for the MS program have focused on designing more formal assessments points for our students. Currently, this is limited to course grades and their dissertation. Various models had been used in the past, including annual written evaluations of graduate students by faculty and faculty discussions of under-performing students. After dialogue among stakeholders, the current plan is to use one faculty meeting a semester to discuss the progress of our MS students which is scheduled to begin in spring 2019.
