Ānuenue Center

We are excited to announce the opening of the new Ānuenue Center, located in the Queen Liliʻuokalani Center, Room 211, within the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Success.

The mission of Ānuenue Center is to create brave spaces where students can engage in meaningful dialogue, connect with others and find support in being their full, authentic selves. Staff hope these programs will spark the creation of chosen families of support across campus.

The name Ānuenue—Hawaiian for rainbow—symbolizes unity, renewal, transformation, and our shared identity as Rainbow Warriors and rainbow Wāhine. Like a rainbow that brings many colors together, the center welcomes all students and seeks to foster a strong sense of community, connection, and growth.

To help build those connections, the center will host weekly coffee hours, offering students a chance to talk story, recharge, have fun, and meet new friends. Additional programs and events will continue throughout the year.

We invite you to stop by and be part of this new chapter of care and community at UH Mānoa.
