How advising works:
All TIM majors receive academic advising through TIM OSAS. All TIM majors receive internship and career advising from the Director of Internship and Career Development.
TIM OSAS can assist with academic planning, course selection, registration, graduation, academic action, and more.
The Director of Internship and Career Development can assist with internships, resumes, cover letters, company contact information, and career advising.
Mandatory Advising:
TIM OSAS requires mandatory advising each semester for freshmen, sophomores, transfer students (first semester only), and major change. More information on mandatory advising can be found on the TIM mandatory advising website.
Graduation:
TIM OSAS requires TIM students to perform a pre-graduation check one semester prior to graduation, including meeting with an advisor to confirm the TIM student’s graduation requirements are met. More information can be found on the TIM graduation website.
