At UHM, all students are advised to contact the undergraduate advisor. Advance appointments are required. The office hours are Monday through Friday (closed on state holidays) from 8:00 am through 4:30 pm.

How advising works:

Medical Technology students are advised to start their work by completing the MLT at KCC or another institution first and then transferring to UHM.  Students are recommended to receive thorough advising in order to discuss academic planning, prerequisites, General Education requirements and updates on admission and curriculum.

Mandatory Advising:

Advising is highly recommended. Students with a C- or below in major coursework cannot proceed in major classes.
