How advising works:

The School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology has a variety of degree programs, each with its own set of advisors.

Academic advising is provided by both SOEST Student Academic Services and a faculty member within your major department. All incoming, transfer, current, and prospective students in need of advising should visit our Student Academic Services website for assistance and scheduling an appointment.

Students can meet with advisors by scheduling an appointment. Appointments are required for general, mandatory, or graduation meetings.
