Reserve your seats now for Remembering Her Majesty

Our beloved Queen Liliʻuokalani passed from this earth on November 11, 1917. Yet her life, her reign and her creative genius remain powerful symbols and lessons for our lāhui today.  In recognition of this centennial, you’re invited to Hoʻohāliʻaliʻa: Remembering Her Majesty, a special performance of mele, hula and haʻi ʻōlelo at Kennedy theatre on Saturday October 7, 2017.

All proceeds from this event will go to scholarships for Native Hawaiian students at the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa.

We are grateful for the following artists and hālau that have joined together for this occasion: Manu Boyd and Hālau o ke ‘A‘aliʻi Kū Makani; Nola Nahulu, the Honolulu Youth Opera Chorus and the Hawaiʻi Opera Chorus; Hālau ka Lā ʻŌnohi Mai o Haʻehaʻe; and Vicky Holt Takamine and Hālau Pua Aliʻi ʻIlima.

General admission is $50. VIP seating is $120, and includes a hosted reception at 5:30pm, a keepsake program, and preferred seating.

Doors open at 6:30. Performances begin at 7:00 pm.
