The Center for Korean Studies at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa presents "Paul K. Ryu Commemoration Symposium -- Law and Culture in Korea" on August 25, 2023 from 9:30am-12:30pm.

Paul K. Ryu (also known as 유기천, Ryu Kicheon, or Ki-chʻŏn Yu) was a legal scholar, who served as the ninth president of Seoul National University and the sixth dean of Seoul National University School of Law. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Korean Studies and Paul Kicheon Ryu Foundation.

The half-day symposium will be moderated by Professor Emeritus Chongko Choi, Seoul National University School of Law and will happen at the CKS Auditorium.
