CRDG researchers continually strive to bring in extramural funding to support a vibrant and rigorous research agenda based on CRDG’s five focus areas:
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education
- Hawai‘i, Asia, and the Pacific
- Serving Diverse Learners
- Educational Technology Development
- Designing Educational Systems
In any given year, outside funding comes from a mix of federal funds, e.g., National Science Foundation, National Department of Education; state-level contracts, in particular for collaborations with or providing services to the Hawai‘i Department of Education; non-profit foundations; and partnerships with other institutions.
In the past three years, CRDG has brought in an average of $7.4 million each year. This list describes those grant-funded projects that are currently active. Details of completed grants can be found in each of our annual reports, accessible through the “Completed Grants” link.
