Afternoon Activities
Participants were given the
option to participate in individual activities
one day per week. These activities included
Khmer traditional dancing, Khmer music, Khmer
cooking and other activities.

Participants visited the Tuk Chhou
, then toured Kep Thmei, a local
fishing village on the coast, where they
had an opportunity to observe local
fishing practices and go on a short ride
on a fishing boat. Participants were
also allowed some free time in Kampot to
explore the town. |

Participants visited local silk weaving
sites, a weaving community organization,
a local temple and Koh Dach resort. A
leisure cruise boat ride back to Phnom
Penh along the Mekong river allowed
participants to view geography and
village life in and around Phnom Penh. |

visited this remote 7th
century temple complex that predates
Angkor by many centuries on the way to
