This publication represents a methodological triangulation of archival research, oral histories, narrative interviews, photographs, and virtual and collection-based research which was brought to fruition as a collaborative project where knowledge is co-produced, co-interpreted, and co-represented. The authors and panelists will discuss Part One of the book focused on Bishop Museum. The book includes the insights of multiple authors on Indigenous practices within museums. The presenters will describe their contributions to Refocusing Ethnographic Museums, and offer comments on the collaborative structure of the book. During the Q&A, the authors and panelists look forward to discussing ideas about “collaboration” and “collaborative projects” with audience members.
