ʻAulani is a Master’s student in both the American Studies and Library and Information Science
programs. Before becoming a graduate student, she received her BAs in English and Women’s,
Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, as well as her AAs in
Hawaiian Studies and Liberal Arts from Windward Community College. Her research interests
include Indigenous, queer, and preservation studies, and her goal is to one day become an
academic librarian or archivist here on Oʻahu.
