02 Feb Congratulations to Noelle Kahanu!

Congratulations to our faculty member Noelle Kahanu on her article “The Hidden History of a Pacific Colonization Project” in the current OHA newsletter, Ka Waī Ola: News for the Land, February 2024, pigs. 16-18. Itʻs a great spread in a special bilingual issue.

For folks interested in digital archives, Noelle explains how the “Hui Panalāʻa Digital Collection” brings together resources from several archives to create an “open-access web-based digital collection with a comprehensive searchable database.” This project is led by the Pacific American Foundation and the funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
