Admission Requirements and Procedures

 

Museum Studies

Applicants for the Museum Studies Graduate Certificate Program are required to have an undergraduate degree and possess a strong interest in Museum Studies or a related subject.

ADMISSION PROCESS

The deadline for Fall admission is March 1; the deadline for Spring admission is September 1

Prospective applicants must apply for classified admission to the program through the Graduate Division.

Online Application

Visit University of Hawaii Online Admission Application and follow the onscreen instructions and submit supporting application materials:

  • Statement of Objectives
  • Unofficial transcript(s) (Official transcript(s) must be submitted to Office of Graduate Education Student Services prior to enrolling at UHM)

Note: GRE scores and letters of recommendation are not required from the graduate certificate applicants.
