
12 Feb Distinguished Inouye Chair Kapwani Kiwanga: participatory workshops for students
Renowned artist Kapwani Kiwanga, Spring 2025 Inouye Distinguished Chair in Democratic Ideals, is offering two unique, participatory workshops for graduate and undergraduate students! Scheduled for Feb 19 and Feb 25, the workshops explore relationships between the human and natural worlds, engaging with plants as “silent witnesses across time and geography.” No prior artistic skill or experience is required. Please rsvp before spaces fill and circulate this opportunity widely.

WORKSHOP #2, Tuesday, Feb 25, 9 am.-12 p.m., UHM classroom (TBA)
