16 Jan Congratulations Noelle Kahanu!

Noelle Kahanu was invited to the White House for a ceremony honoring the service and sacrifice of the Hui Panalāʻau, including Noelle’s grandfather, sent by the US government to work on Howland, Jarvis, and Baker islands from 1935 to 1942. Noelle told the story of the Hui Panalāʻau in her documentary, Under the Jarvis Moon (2010). Congratulations, Noelle!
