Spencer Oshita is a Ph.D. candidate. His dissertation project looks at legal, literary, and mediated discourses of children in contemporary America. He has taught courses on constitutional law, gender discrimination, feminist and queer theory, C19 American Studies, young adult literature and graphic novels, global media, video games, American Empire, spatial politics and theory, science and technology studies, and humanities methodologies. He is a Lecturer for the Departments of American Studies and History, as well as the Honors Program.
